Spider Meadows & Lyman Glacier

The trailhead for the Spider’s Meadow and Lyman Glacier hike is located near the end of the dusty Chiwawa River Road not far from Lake Wenatchee. The hike starts with a pretty gradually climb up the valley following Phelps Creek to Spider Meadows followed by a steep ascent to the Spider Glacier. The glacier is more of a snowfield late in the summer and was pretty simple navigation to get to the other side and hike down the other side to get a view of the awesome Lyman Glacier and the blue lake of freshly melted ice.
